Prior to his legal career, Kevin participated in scientific investigations related primarily to cancer research and therapies of immune disorders. Since his retirement, Kevin embarked on a challenging, hirsute experiment — growing a beard — which ended at the behest of his wife, Elsie. BarbWeckman Brekke was re-elected for a second term as Scott County Commissioner in November.When she’s not serving the people of Scott County, Barb practices in the areas of estate planning, business, and real estate law in Shakopee at Brekke, Clyborne, and Ribich, LLC. Congratulations, Barb! Johanna Clyborne was chosen as the deputy commanding general at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence. Jo will maintain her duties as the assistant adjutant general in the Minnesota National Guard while she serves at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence. In April, Jo spoke at the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual Women’s Leadership Forum, attended by Heidi Bassett ’05 J.D. and Kylie Kaminski ’18 J.D. (all three shown below), whose firm, Hellmuth & Johnson, sponsored the event. Jo also continues to practice family law at Brekke, Clyborne and Ribich in Shakopee. Stephanie Boucher left the Minnesota Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities to move to the State Demographic Center, where she is now the program administrator.Working for the state has its advantages, like working from home permanently and lots of vacation time, which she’ll use to travel to Croatia this October. Stephanie is still training her first husband, Jeff, but has decided that son Niko, at age 24, is untrainable. P.S. Stephanie says “Hello” to Kimberlie and Gretchen! Bryan Feldhaus now practices at DuVal &Associates. Bryan specializes in advising medical device, pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement companies on FDA law, regulations and guidance. Additionally, Bryan counsels companies on compliance matters, conducts compliance assessments, collaborates with clients to develop compliance programs, and provides compliance training to ensure clients understand and achieve their compliance goals in the context of their business objectives. BethForsythe was elected toDorsey &Whitney’s 11-member Policy Committee (boardof directors) and is serving a two-year term. It is an exciting opportunity to set strategy and policy for the firm, advise the managing partner, and decide the makeup of the partnership.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in the Legal Business Solutions group in Seattle,WA. Stephanie (Molloy) Severson was named a partner at Avison Young in 2019, where she consults with large corporate users and manages corporate real estate portfolios on a global basis. Stephanie is a principal inOccupier Services. Stephanie joined the firm’s Enterprise Solutions and Tenant Advisory groups in 2015. In addition tomanaging an average of 100 transactions per year for her clients, Stephanie and her husbandwelcomed a son, Freddie, into the family at the beginning of the pandemic inMarch 2020. He’s brought somuch joy to them in a tough year. Stephanie says her daughter, Scarlett, who turned four this year, is an amazing big sister.
