Tony Nagorski recently left his consulting practice at Ernst and Young to help develop the State and Local Tax practice in Minneapolis for the global CPA firm of BDO. Tony leads the sales and use tax practice locally, and advises businesses and their stakeholders on the broad-reaching tax impacts of multi-state operation. Congrats to Jacqueline Schmitt and husbandMatt on their first son, Jonah Bernard Schmitt (pictured below), born March 18, 2020. He looks adorable!

Michael Klosowsky is now a Chicago Immigration Court Judge. From 2016 to 2020, Michael served as assistant chief counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in El Paso, Texas. From 2011 to 2016, he was an associate attorney with Klosowsky LawOffice, PLLC, in Sugar Land, Texas. Michael is pictured below on the day of his (socially distant) investiture ceremony.
