Chris Damian recently took a new job as Head of Global Procurement Contracting for Applied Materials. Sara Greethurst (pictured below) now works for a remote firm, Quadrant Law, predominately doing business contract review. She got married last June. She and her spouse, and their three dogs, are moving to Hayward, WI, to build their “dream home” on their vacation land.

Congratulations to Evan Everist , who was named Partner at Dorsey & Whitney (Minneapolis). Evan practices in Dorsey’s Trademark, Copyright and Advertising Group. Rachel Forman (pictured below) is now a Partner at Shook, Hardy & Bacon. Rachel is based in Miami and her practice is focused on liability litigation.

Roger Maldonado was named a 2022 40 Under 40 honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Roger practices at Faegre Drinker (Minneapolis), where he handles complex finance and restructuring issues. Grant McColley is an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue where he has worked since 2019. He and with his wife Julia reside in St. Paul and are expecting their first child this August. Amy O’Neil is pursuing her LLM in dispute resolution at the University of Missouri and recently married John O’Keefe in a beautiful, small ceremony in New Paltz, New York. Best wishes to Amy and John! Neal Pearson and wife Becky welcomed daughter Mila (pictured below) in September 2021. Mila is much loved by her older siblings. The Pearsons live in Utah, and Neal just celebrated 7 years at U.S. Bank as an Assistant Vice President in the Payment Services organization.

Congratulations to Nathan Gallus on becoming a Partner at Brooks, Cameron, & Huebsch, PLLC (Minneapolis). Nathan practices in the area of intellectual property. Marcus Jones and his wife Emily welcomed their second child, a son named Meraux, in December. Oliver Kiefer now practices at DLA Piper (San Diego, Calif.) in the Litigation, Arbitrations, and Investigations group. Jesse Sater (pictured below) joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as a Partner in its recently-opened Minneapolis office. Jesse defends clients in products liability and toxic tort, commercial, construction, and premises liability claims. Lindsay Case (pictured below) is now a shareholder at Moss & Barnett. Congratulations to Phil Steger on being recognized as an Innovator in the Twin Cities Business TCB100 People to Know in 2022! Phil is founder and CEO of Brother Justus Whiskey Company (Minneapolis). Jeffrey Wald is a criminal appeals attorney in the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. In his free time, he dabbles in fiction writing. You can read his latest story, “Fr. John’s Bad Day,” in the forthcoming issue of St. Thomas’ Summit Ave Review. Congratulations to Kyle Willems on being elected shareholder at Bassford Remele. Rachelle Anderson (pictured below) is now a Partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough (Minneapolis). Rachelle is a products liability lawyer with a practice focused on defending medical device manufacturers in complex, high-profile litigation.

Petro and Allie Czerniak had their first child, Amelia Kateryna (pictured below), in June, and celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in September. This spring, the Czerniaks threw their efforts into helping their friends and family in Ukraine as they defend their country against the Russian invasion.

Kate Norris continues to jet set around the country with Jessica Drewiske. Vegas, San Diego, Raleigh, and Boston (pictured) in 2021. In 2022, you can find them wherever Brothers Osbourne is playing next.

Amanda Diedrich (pictured below) now practices in the real estate group at Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thomson (Minneapolis).

Jazz Hampton was named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list for 2022. Jazz is CEO and general counsel of TurnSignl, a Minneapolis tech startup that provides real-time legal guidance to drivers involved in law enforcement interactions as well as auto accidents. Patrick Lucke (pictured below) now practices at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP (Chicago). Patrick advises private fund sponsors and institutional investors on a wide range of issues.

Lauren (Anthone) Dedon was promoted to Senior Legal Policy Advisor at the National Governors Association, where she supports a national network of legal counsel to governors. Luke Heck , wife Holly, and three big sisters welcomed Elle Ruby into the world on December 26. The family lives in Fargo. Luke continues his criminal defense practice as a Shareholder at the Vogel Law Firm. He represents individuals in ND, MN, and federally. Tim Lacine and Rachel celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They have four children, with the oldest graduating high school in May. Tim started as Financial Controller/HR Generalist at a church. He was diagnosed with MS but reports, with his diet change, that life is good. Samuel Jeffrey Nelson (pictured below) is now a Partner at Meier, Kennedy & Quinn, Chartered (St. Paul). Sam practices employment law, business & nonprofit law, and school law.

Lucas Spaeth is the managing attorney at Northeast Minneapolis law firm, Estate & Elder Law Services. He and his wife, Priscilla, have five children. Carolyn (Latimer) Frazer and her husband Jeremy welcomed their first child on March 1, 2022. The family resides in Dallas, Texas and Carolyn is legal counsel for Safran, USA. Congratulations to Emily Gullickson , who was named an Arizona Capitol Times 2021 Leader of the Year for Education. Emily is President & Founder of Great Leaders, Strong Schools, and CEO & Founder of A for Arizona. Clay Harris opened his new firm Fridovich & Harris (logo pictured below), which focuses on criminal defense, civil plaintiffs’ law and general legal disputes and serves the greater Denver area.

After five years at EY in the Global Operations & Tax and Finance Operate team, Hannah Lindeborg has changed firms and career focus. She is now at Deloitte as a Risk & Financial Advisory Manager on the Corporate Compliance and Operational Risk team. Congratulations to Meghan Marty (pictured below), who is now a shareholder at Messerli | Kramer (Minneapolis). As a member of the firm’s Banking and Finance group, Meghan focuses her practice on the areas of commercial and tax credit-based financing and banking operations.

Elliott Robinson (pictured below) is now a Regional Sales Manager for Thomson Reuters out of Dallas- Fort Worth. Elliott has been with Thomson Reuters since 2015 and stepped into this new role at the start of 2022.

Carrie Osowski (pictured below) is now a Senior Assistant County Attorney for the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office. Carrie is on the adult criminal prosecution team.

Joy Beitzel is now a Staff Attorney at Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (Duluth, MN). In this role, Joy represents survivors of sexual violence in various civil proceedings.

In November 2021, Ashley (Bennett) Herrig was awarded the Staff Attorney Award of Merit by the Iowa County Attorneys Association, which recognizes an Assistant County Attorney with a distinguished record of accomplishment, dedication and service to the Association and their community at large.

Jill Sauber , managing attorney at Sauber Legal Services, was recognized by Twin Cities Business as a 2022 Notable Woman in Law.
