On October 23, Peter Glessing (pictured below) married Pari Cariaga at the Basilica of St. Mary. The reception was at Interlachen in Edina. Five of Peter’s law classmates attended the celebration. Peter practices at Lockridge Grindal Nauen, focusing on state government relations and communications.
Jon Scheib , wife Kate Munro, and their two daughters are finishing their fourth year in Poland. Jon is a remote litigation consultant for U.S.-based attorneys and Kate teaches at the American School of Warsaw. Alumni who want to explore Central Europe are welcome to visit. Adam Terwey is honored to receive the 2022 Living the Mission award for forming and directing St. Croix Legal Services, which provides legal system access to those who could not otherwise afford representation. Amy Boyle and Ross Stadheim (pictured below), who have worked together since 2015, teamed up with two other partners to form MJSB Employment Justice LLP – a firm specializing in employment law—hanging out their shingle in October 2021. Kiesha Mayes is now Deputy General Counsel for Employment Law at Optum, which is part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses. Congratulations to Simeon Morbey (pictured below) for receiving the Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement by a Young Lawyer award from the American Antitrust Institute. Simeon was recognized in connection with a case against peanut shelling companies for price-fixing. Simeon is Senior Counsel at Lockridge Grindal Nauen.
Bryan Ludwig was promoted to Senior Corporate Counsel at Jamf Software this Spring. He will assist with negotiating and management of contracts within Jamf’s commercial, government, and education markets … among various other lawyerings. Contrary to malicious rumors likely started by Dan Mikkelson , David Gorksi is very much employed in the St. Paul City Attorney’s Office, where he is doing client services for the human rights office and office of financial empowerment. Go Gorski! John Nielsen accepted a new position as Underwriting Counsel at First American Title - National Commercial Services in Nashville, Tennessee. John, wife Tani, and their two kids will move to Nashville this summer to join John’s parents and siblings, who moved there from the Midwest. Bonnie Norlander reports two fantastic updates. In July 2021, she was promoted to the Range Criminal Division in St. Louis County. And on January 31, 2022, she gave birth to her first child, a healthy baby girl, Mabel (pictured below).
James Olsen (pictured below) is now a partner at Seiler Law (St. Paul) after merging his solo practice (JTO Legal) into the firm. Seiler Law provides businesses and business owners with consulting and transactional legal services.
Subia Beg and David Carrier welcomed their second daughter, Maziya, born 2/22/22. Congratulations to Matthew Boleyn on launching Boleyn Law P.C. (Dubuque, Iowa). The firm handles family law, estate planning, probate, business incorporation and advisement, real estate and copyright matters.
Megan Marrinan Feliciano is a part-time attorney at Soule & Stull (Minneapolis) and part-time stay- at-home mom. After pandemic distancing, she is reconnecting beyond her bubble as a Girls on the Run coach and a cast member of the Twin Cities Listen to Your Mother show.
