2025 Fowler BCC Event Program

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Focused on igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of University of St. Thomas students across campus, the Fowler Business Concept Challenge invites participants to develop a concept with the potential to grow into a viable, high-growth business. Students from 42 academic programs are taking part in this year’s competition, making it a truly cross- campus event. Today highlights the top 32 teams in the business track and social track as they compete in the semifinals. Four teams from each track will advance to the finals this afternoon, where they will compete for a total of $92,500 in scholarships. Every finalist earns a scholarship, with the top team in each track receiving $15,000. Semifinalists who do not advance will receive a $1,000 team scholarship, and the runner-up in each semifinals room will receive $1,500. This year’s 17th annual Fowler Business Concept Challenge includes 142 students that submitted 115 new venture concepts. We are proud to have 63 entrepreneurs and business leaders serving as judges this year, including 26 St. Thomas alumnae.
