Crusen joined SiebenCarey (Minneapolis), where he represents clients injured in automobile accidents, at home, and by medical providers, whether it be birth injuries, hospital negligence, surgical errors or a misdiagnosis. Matt also represents clients who have been harmed by police misconduct or other civil rights violations. Emily Hessler has several fun updates! She became a godmother to her nephew,
2020. She was also appointed as secretary for the Oneida-Vilas- Forest County Bar Association in August 2020. Kaitlyn Hennessy Kulseth was married in September 2020 and started as an Assistant County Attorney at the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office. She and her husband Chris are now expecting their first child in September 2021. In September 2020, Mimi Levin got married to her now-husband Dane Peterson (pictured below).

Lincoln. Emily works as a Legal Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters. Apart fromwork, she learned how to cross-stitch and embroider! She has also started writing to pen pals in Italy, Portugal and Oklahoma. Emily has also edited and published her mom’s first book on Amazon. Congratulations to Tori Kee , who is the law school’s Community Justice Project Law Fellow for 2020-21. Kee was placed with CJP as part of St. Thomas Law's Archbishop Ireland Justice Fellows program. JimKrause joined Lommen Abdo’s litigation practice. Jim focuses on professional liability, attorney discipline, insurance defense, insurance coverage and commercial litigation. Casey L. Matthiesen joined Robins Kaplan LLP’s Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice group in Minneapolis. Casey also practices in the firm’s Business Litigation and American Indian Law & Policy groups. Andy Moeller is now an Associate at Farrish Johnson Law Office (Mankato, MN). Andy practices family law, estate planning and bankruptcy. Megan Pierce-Campbell is working in the Third Judicial District, clerking for the Honorable Matthew J. Opat. While she primarily works in Fillmore County, she also hears cases out of Houston, Winona and Wabasha Counties. James Rasmussen now practices at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM). James helps Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals applicants and assists with ILCM’s pro bono attorney placements. Rasmussen was placed with ILCM as part of St. Thomas Law's Archbishop Ireland Justice Fellows program. Krista Viksnins is off on a new adventure in Brussels, Belgium (pictured below). She now works for the European Parliament in the transatlantic relations unit where she promotes relations between the European Union and the United States. Congrats on this amazing opportunity, Krista!
