John Rice is a prosecutor in his hometown of Madison, WI. He continues to enjoy spending time with his wife, family and friends, hunting and golfing. John and his wife were blessed with their first child last year, a baby boy born in June. Joe Rosholt is now a managing attorney in the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office Adult Criminal Division. He currently prosecutes person crimes and assists in the management of the criminal division.

Charlotte Kathryn Gilligan joined Meghan Marty and Michael Gilligan ‘18 LL.M . on July 13, 2022. They are all so excited to have her join the family (especially her puppy sisters, Lucie and Bailey)!
think I’d be writing this all the way from Japan (welcome to Navy life). It is with great pleasure and excitement to share the following updates for this issue. Andrew Carballo moved to Wisconsin and started a new gig at Kohler Co. as counsel-commercial in April 2022. More good news followed as he married Emily Lenz on September 24, 2022. Congratulations, Andrew! Daniel Dosch entered his third year with Messerli & Kramer’s M&A and Corporate Counsel team, chairing a number of deals and training newer associates.
Christopher Jison is now the president of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association. His wife, Nicole, is the current president-elect.
Anna Street and her father James Street joined Tuft, Lach, Jerabek & O’Connell, PLLC in January 2023. Anna is an associate, and Jim is a partner. Congratulations to Alaina Wenning and her husband Kelvin as they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Ellis Roe Stroik, to the world on October 3, 2022. They are completely obsessed with baby Ellie and so are we!

He is engaged to Kelley Steffens, with a wedding set for summer 2023. Hakeem Jackson is a full-time public defender in Stearns County. He joined the office in February 2022. Brittany Kennedy joined the real estate group at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.
Hannah Johnson is now a shareholder at McCollum Crowley P.A. Hannah specializes in workers’ compensation defense. Congrats to Kelsie Kingstrom on her election as the Renville County Attorney. Francine Kuplic is now an associate counsel at Ameriprise Financial. She advises employees in compliance, banking regulations and fund management. Francine and husband Andrew welcomed their second baby, Ruby Francine Kuplic, on August 15, 2022! She is very loved by Andrew, Francine and big brother Grant.

Edward Davalle JD/MBA is now corporate counsel at Calabrio, Inc., a Minneapolis-based company that develops and markets software applications for call recording, quality management, speech analytics, workforce management and performance management solutions. Stephanie Davis now practices immigration law at Davis & Goldfarb, PLLC. Zach Donahue launched a business focused on bringing holistic mental well-being and health skills to young athletes. Priya Elayath is now an assistant attorney general at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General. Priya advises Minnesota health- related licensing boards and coordinates and advises clients in all stages of litigation at the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Matthew and Erin (Johnson) Larsgaard welcomed Amira Dorothy Larsgaard into the world on June 30, 2022 at 3:59 p.m. Despite an exciting entrance, she is happy, healthy and so loved!
Rachel O’Connor joined Lathrop GPM’s Franchise & Distribution practice group in Minneapolis. She counsels clients on transactional, business law and franchise matters such as corporate governance and compliance, acquisitions and sales of businesses, corporate finance and commercial agreements.

Shana represents university students in housing and consumer protection cases.

Melissa (Bumanglag) Lopes married Joshua Lopes in Hawaii on May 25, 2022. Both are U.S. Air Force JAGs, with Melissa stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, OK, and Josh stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. They hope to be stationed together for their next assignment in 2023. Jeremy Singleton is still working in-house at Articulate and is enjoying traveling with his wife through Europe and New England, and hanging out with law school classmates including his neighbor Tony Schmidt , law school bestie Andrew Hoaglund, and Brian Westrick and Alex Fenaughty.
