Andrea Specht is now executive director for the American Craft Council, a national nonprofit that connects and galvanizes diverse craft communities and traditions to advance craft’s impact in contemporary American life. Andrea lives in St. Paul’s West Side neighborhood with husband Joe Ford and Walt the Whippet.
Caroline Simonson was appointed to Moss & Barnett’s Board of Directors. Caroline is a member of the firm’s multifamily and commercial real estate finance and real estate teams.

Marisela Maddox Smookler moved to Tel Aviv for a year to complete a conflict resolution and mediation masters at Tel Aviv University and explore the Israeli life with her two very curious sons (ages 12 and 7). Here they are overlooking the Dead Sea.
Congratulations to Chris Huether, a partner at Leuthner and Huether, Ltd., who was awarded an Advocacy Achievement Award by Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota (LSNM) for his work as a judicare attorney. Joe Johnson reports that his company, Ostra Cybersecurity, just closed its Series A financing with Rally Ventures and is excited to partner with them for the next stage of their growth. I don’t know what that means, but I’m always proud of Joe. Rebecca McConkey-Greene is very honored to become the associate judge for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe’s tribal court. Mary (Beckey) Rosen was elected a fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. Since ACCFL’s founding in the 1990s, 300 fellows have been elected. She’s super involved in her kids’ lives and doesn’t plan to change careers again. Andrea Dahly was living in Texas working for the American Athletic Conference and now has a new position as the associate director of athletics compliance at Bemidji State University. She ensures compliance with conference and NCAA rules and is the Title IX coordinator.
