New support for DFC scholars: More than $20M Unlocked human potential: Limitless
Last fall, an anonymous donor put forth a challenge: Dougherty Family College will receive $10 million if it raised another $10 million by June 30, 2023. Challenge accepted! 233 individual, corporate and foundation donors gave more than 400 gifts in FY23 401 gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations met the match criteria 16 of the gifts were major gifts of $50,000 or more 2 of the gifts were $1 million or more
In total, more than $10 million was raised and the match was met.
These funds are transformational, allowing us to provide additional scholarships for tuition and wrap- around supports, as well as increase the number of continuation scholarships for DFC graduates to pursue their bachelor’s degree at St. Thomas. Because of the vision and generosity of our donors, we are securing the future of a college that is making a difference in reducing poverty long-term.
