The California wildfires couldn’t stop Amanda Crain and her husband, Scott Olson (pictured below) , from getting married on Oct. 25, 2019. Fires were raging rampant through the Sonoma wine region, but luckily, fate was on their side, and they were able to have a beautiful outdoor wedding just in the nick of time!

John Nielsen and wife Tani welcomed their second child, Claire Prudence, into their family on June 3, 2019. John is working as an underwriting counsel at Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Pamela Steinle began Steinle Law, PLLC on Jan. 1, 2020. When Amanda isn’t battling nature, she battles discrimination – Amanda co-presented at the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association (MLBA) 19th Annual Conference in February on three cases under advisement by the Supreme Court of the United States, which will determine whether federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and transgender status. In 2019, Amanda Mortwedt Oh moved to Los Angeles, with her husband and twin daughters. She is still working at the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea, but also started a new Army Reserve position in Mountain View, California, as the brigade judge advocate for the 7th Psychological Operations Group. In January 2020, Alison Ovenden started a new position as legal counsel for Meta Bank, a federally chartered savings association in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
